FMS Expands and Establishes West Coast Office in Portland, Oregon
Bolsters Expansion with Key Staff Additions
Baltimore, MD., August 13, 2010 — FMS Solutions Inc., (www.FMSSolutions.com) an accounting and consulting service provider to independent retail grocers, is opening a new office in Portland, Oregon to better serve its West Coast clients. The new office will be located at 5331 SW Macadam Avenue, Suite 389, Portland, Oregon 97239.
The new West Coast facility, located in the Water Tower Building, will open September 15, 2010. The building is an old furniture factory that has been refurbished but still contains many original and unique characteristics. President of FMS Solutions, Inc. Bob Graybill explained, “in addition to the benefits this new location will offer to our clients, we are also pleased to enter the Portland market and provide additional positions to a state suffering from higher than average unemployment rates. We look forward to providing great opportunities to those qualified candidates.”
Barbara Forty has been hired as the client manager for the new West Coast office. Barb has a decade of experience with Albertsons and Supervalu in the retail accounting area with a focus on retail inventory. “With her knowledge of the industry and extensive contacts, we look forward to building a great team of grocery-knowledgeable staff in Portland Oregon,” stated Graybill.
In the Fall of 2009, Robin Thomas also joined the FMS team in a newly-created role of Key Account Executive for the Western Region. Graybill noted, “Robin’s knowledge of the grocery industry has been key to FMS’ growth in the area. He is able to identify how FMS is able to help retailers through its variety of services. As this past year has progressed so positively for FMS and its clients in the area, we felt we would be better able to serve our clients by providing an office in the geographic area. This will not only bring us closer to clients in the area, but also extends our available hours to the country as a whole.“
